Senior HVAC Engineer

We are looking for an applicant with 8 plus years experience in HVAC systems and Project Management. The following applicant will have knowledge in: Be able to lead and mentor Designer level staff on all of their responsibilities Perform at a ‘ responsible charge’ level of meeting the design and quality levels QA/QC review of all calculations by designers, and provides guidance and mentoring Determines content of drawings and specs for Designers in order to meet the scope of work Write new HVAC specification sections, develop new details, as required for project needs. Direct Designer on a daily basis " if required for project delivery Review Designer’s quality on RFI answers, and submittal review Travel to project site to review progress of work, successfully solve problems within time & budget Develop and monitor HVAC work plans in conjunction with PM Writes sequences of operations for AHU’s, CHW and HW systems Understands and applies concepts of CHW, HW, WSHP, variable & constant flow systems. Reviews code related items with Designers, and ensure compliance Manages work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours Writes studies and reports for HVAC systems on projects.

Requirements
BS Architectural Engineering, or BS Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent degree.
8+ Years Experience
Registered Professional Engineer
