Gabi is a Mechanical Engineer currently living in California. She's also a wife to a very lucky guy, and mother of two smart and amazingly high-spirited boys. Initially, she leaned towards the area of thermal system design. You know — combustion, heat and mass transfer, turbomachinery, power generation. All that fun stuff! Recently she became interested in 3D modeling and discovered SolidWorks with its surfacing tools, animation, simulation, and photo-realistic rendering capabilities (PhotoWorks and PhotoView). She became a CSWP, attended SolidWorks World twice, presented at a SWUGN technical summit, and had the great honor to co-author a book for beginners with Alex Ruiz, also known as "SolidWorks Geek". And of course she's had lots of fun and met all kinds of interesting people along the way! This is her blog.
