NAIG Mechanical Integrity Coordinator Praxair's North American Industrial Gases (NAIG) business is seeking a Mechanical Integrity Coordinator. This position will report to the Mechanical Integrity Program manager. Location for these positions is flexible. The successful candidates will be responsible for executing mechanical integrity implementation plans for 4-5 Praxair locations. This position will need to work closely with other Praxair organizations such as, Plant Management, Reliability Engineering, and Safety, to achieve the required objectives. Job duties include; Assembly and evaluation of plant Process Safety Information (PSI). Identification of gaps in PSI, management systems (electronic and hardcopy), and MI procedures. Provide engineering support to facilities to close gaps in PSI information and management systems. This includes performing engineering calculations or interfacing with other technical resources to secure required documentation of PSI. Write, edit, and review Mechanical Integrity procedures Serve a key role in the implementation of an Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS) that will support Praxair's fixed equipment inspection program Other Qualifications; Must drive highest impact issues to resolution with a strong sense of urgency and integrity. Must be willing to travel to assigned sites to work directly with plants in order to assemble all necessary information to build the MI program May help coordinate and oversee Maintenance and inspection activities required by the Program Knowledge of mechanical integrity concepts, OSHA Process Safety Management, API 510/570 and other industry RAGAGEP (recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices) related to mechanical integrity is desired. Requirements Requires Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 3-5 years of experience. This position requires a combination of office work and field work. Willingness and ability to travel is a must. Job requires approximately 50% domestic travel. Off-hours accessibility (laptop and cell phone) are occasionally required. Excellent communication and team interaction skills are required. Must be a self starter and have the ability to work independently as well as to lead/participate on cross functional teams. Must be able to manage multiple priorities, drive issues to completion, and obtain results. Computer fluency in Lotus Notes, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
