Among the gases we supply are oxygen, nitrogen, argon, carbon dioxide, helium, and hydrogen. The company’s world-class engineering organization designs, engineers and constructs cryogenic and non-cryogenic supply systems around the world. Responsible for safely troubleshooting and repairing electrical and instrumentation equipment including compliance with reliability, quality assurance, environmental and government programs. Collects meter readings and perform calibration of meters and analyzers. Maintains preventative maintenance system. This job is with Pipeline Maintenance based in East Chicago, IN. Job will require travel to other Praxair pipeline locations in the Midwest. Must have clean driving record, be willing to work overtime as required, and be available for call-outs as needed. Subject to DOT regulations including random drug testing. Requirements: • High School Degree required. Associates or Bachelors preferred. • 3+ years of related experience. • Will consider entry level applicants with a Associate or Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology in lieu of experience.
